Perry W. Miller Jr., 75, son of Mildred Oliver Miller Bruce and Perry W. Miller Sr. of Bellefontaine, passed away peacefully on December 15, 2020, at his residence in Haslet, Texas.
He was born in Bellefontaine. Perry graduated from Logan Hills High School in 1963. He served as a Vietnam Veteran from 1963-1966. He married his wife Shirley in 1968. Perry was proceeded in death by both of his parents.
He is survived by his spouse of 52 years, Shirley Irene Gillen Miller, son Brian M. Miller of Tioga, Texas, and his spouse Crystal Miller, daughter, Kimberly A. Miller Johnson, and her spouse, Jason Johnson of Wasilla, Alaska. Five grandchildren: Colton Miller, Kara Lyles, Kersten Johnson, Nicole Miller, Brandon Miller. Three great grandchildren: Ashtyn Johnson, Kennedy and Reagan Evans. He was the oldest of five children. Phil Miller of Belle Center, Rosemary (Doug) Penhorwood of Bellefontaine, and Don (Tami) Miller of Flower Mound, Texas, and numerous nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his Uncle and Aunt of East Liberty, Raleigh and Phyllis Oliver.
Throughout his life, Perry worked in the construction business. His hobbies were hunting and fishing.
A celebration of life ceremony will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 5, at Highland Memorial Cemetery, West Liberty.
