Paulette Hawkins, 78, of Bellefontaine, and formerly of Milwaukee, Wis., passed away Friday, Oct. 28, 2016, in St. Rita’s Medical Center, Lima.
She was born in Monroe, La., on June 29, 1938, the daughter of the late Euphrazine Allen Coleman.
She is survived by her seven children, Valencia Hawkins of Milwaukee, Bridget Hawkins of Bellefontaine, Pamela Robinson of Snellville, Ga., Inga (Mike) Mioduszewski of Racine, Wis., Christopher (Tiffanie) Hawkins of Aurora, Colo., April Hawkins of Fairburn, Ga., and Jonathan (Kimberly) Hawkins of Emeryville, Calif.; 11 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Paulette worked at Columbia St. Mary’s Hospital in Milwaukee before moving to Ohio. She was an avid reader, enjoying newspapers, cookbooks, gardening books and fashion catalogs. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and going shopping. She loved the time she spent talking with her family on the phone.
