Patricia Sue Hopping Foreman, 75, of Bellefontaine, passed away at 2 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2019, at her home.
She was born in Springfield on Nov. 30, 1943, to the late William and Dorothy Bell Hopping.
On June 15, 1963, she married her loving husband, Ronald Foreman, and he survives.
She is also survived by their children; Amy (Mark) Richardson of Harrison and Jenny (Chris) O’Connor, Stephanie (Mike) Mosbarger and Cindy (Terry) Stolly, all of Bellefontaine; 15 grandchildren, Andy, Eric and Ellie Richardson, Emily and Owen O’Connor, Zachary (Taylor), Petey, Mindy and Daulton Mosbarger, Gabriella, Caitlin and Chloe Stolly and Lily, Olivia and Ethan Turner; one great-grandson, Jameson Rigsby; and many nieces and nephews.
She also was preceded in death by two daughters, Katherine Foreman Turner and Michelle Foreman; and two sisters and brothers- in-law, Mary Lou and Bob Franzen and Joan and Jim Foreman.
Patty was a 1961 graduate of Springfield Catholic Central High School and Mercy Hospital School of Nursing in 1962. She worked as a nurse at Mercy Hospital and later for Mary Rutan Hospital. She also owned and operated The Ohio Driving School for more than 25 years.
An avid reader and member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, she enjoyed many family gatherings and loved watching her grandchildren in all of their activities. She loved her husband and enjoyed traveling and owned and operated a local car dealership for 18 years. She loved motorcycle trips with her husband and friends.
She also enjoyed tennis as a young girl, and as an adult, she became a fan of golf.
Father Kenneth Baker celebrates a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 25, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Bellefontaine.
Visitation is from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 24, at Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Bellefontaine. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Bellefontaine, at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the Foreman family requests that memorial contributions may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society, 316 E. Patterson Ave., Bellefontaine, OH 43311.
