Sandy N. Skeens, 29, at large, was charged Friday with possession of drugs.
She was a passenger in a sport utility vehicle stopped around 4:25 p.m. for an expired registration.
When asked about contraband, she admitted to having opioid pain relievers in her purse. Officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department seized 158 pills which she had just purchased inside Bellefontaine.
She was lodged in the Logan County Jail.
The driver, Jennifer L. Skeens, 24, of Kenton, was cited for fictitious registration and expired registration.
