Pat Ellis is the new face on the Bellefontaine Joint Parks and Recreation District board after members unanimously selected him from a field of four qualified candidates.
Mr. Ellis is a lifelong city resident and executive vice president at Thomas and Marker Construction Co.
“I believe with his experience and community involvement; he’s lived here his whole life and his company has been involved with school, city and parks projects, I think Pat will be a great asset to us,” Board President Fred Brentlinger said after the vote.
The six members of the board selected Mr. Ellis from a field that also included Curt Peterson, Michael Sidders and Robert Reynolds.
“I think any one of the four would have been great additions to the board,” Vice President Dennis Versele added.
