Members of the Rushsylvania Village Council agreed in a regular rescheduled meeting Monday to authorize Logan County Engineer Scott C. Coleman to prepare and submit an application for the village to participate in the Ohio Publi Works Commission State Capital Improvement and/or local transportation improvement program(s) and to execute contracts as required for the village.
They will submit project requests for Euclid Street starting at the railroad crossing toward the driveway to the water plant, Nnrth Stewart Street starting at the alley midway to Rush Street, and Union Street to Bank Street.
It was noted those residents who received letters of ordinance violations for junk vehicles and litter have complied with the ordinances.
The next council meeting is at 7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 6, following the 6:30 p.m. Board of Public Affairs meeting.
