The wooden panels that were located on the lawn of the Logan County Courthouse near the end of World War II are ready for their public unveiling during the DeGraff Country Fair parade, which will make its way through DeGraff at noon Saturday, Aug. 25. The 10-foot-tall panels, which are hand-painted with a complete list of Logan County residents who served during the war, were removed from storage during the courthouse restoration and local veterans volunteered their time to restore the panels and prepare them for public display. In addition to the DeGraff parade, they will be featured in the West Liberty Labor Day Festival parade at noon Saturday, Sept. 1, and the Logan County Bicentennial parade, which takes place in Bellefontaine at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 9.
