With at least seven suspected overdose deaths originating in Logan County in the first two months of 2017, a group of concerned citizens is trying to shine a light on the problem addiction is causing.
The Top of Ohio Patriots will host a public forum beginning at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 9, in the auditorium of the Ohio Hi-Point Career Center, 2280 State Route 540.
A panel of local leaders in the fight against drug abuse will present information on the subject, field questions from the audience and share literature and other resources, Patriots chair Karen Robson said.
“We’re concerned because this problem is touching the lives of many of our citizens and families,” she said. “We want to not only shed light on this situation but to offer hope and help.”
