Indian Lake High School freshman Caden Paavola is taking full advantage of programs offered as part of the school’s 21st Century Grant program called OhioMeansJobs@ILHS. He is a member of the Carpentry and Welding Club and the Art Club. Both meet after school one day a week.

“I enjoy coming (to these programs) even though it makes the school day a little longer. I learn so much. I want to work with my hands, not sit behind a desk,” Paavola said.
The OhioMeansJobs@ILHS program is in its second year of funding through the Ohio Department of Education and the Midwest Regional Educational Service Center.
