Larry A. Semler, 65, of Fairborn, was charged with operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs during a traffic stop about 8:35 p.m. Saturday on S.R. 235 in the area of the Lakeside RV Park.
Deputies observed his vehicle pull from the RV drive onto S.R. 235 and nearly cause a collision in the process, and then the traffic stop was initiated.
During the stop, deputies had to order Semler to get back into his vehicle several times before he complied.
Signs of intoxication were observed, and the driver failed field sobriety tests. He admitted to deputies he had a few drinks that night and had smoked marijuana.
At the Logan County Jail, he refused to take a chemical urine test. He also received a summons for possession of marijuana and was cited for failure to yield from a private drive.
