Members of the Indian Joint Fire District and Ohio Department of Natural Resources participate in a training Sunday with a new side scan sonar system. This equipment was purchased with funds from a generous anonymous donor. This training was instructed by Team Watters Sonar Search and Recovery, a nationally-renowned specialist in water search and recovery using side image sonar equipment. “The added equipment to our fire department and dive team will provide another tool that allows us to quickly locate and recover victims involved in water-related incidents,” officials from the Indian Joint Fire Department said.
