Logan County will mark Ohio 4-H Week March 3 through 9 with an open house from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, March 6, at the Logan County Extension Office, 1100 S. Detroit St., Bellefontaine.
“Come check out what 4-H is and enroll for 2019, said Justin Bower, Logan County 4-H educator. Various county 4-H clubs will be highlighted, along with 4-H camp and projects. There will be snacks and interactive games along with the opportunity to have questions about 4-H answered.
“In 4-H, we believe in the power of young people. We see that every child has valuable strengths and real influence to improve the world around us,” Bower shared. “We are America’s largest youth development organization, empowering nearly 6 million youths across the United States with the skills to lead for a lifetime.”
Bower encourages participation in a four-day 4-H photo challenge using the hashtag #Ohio4H and #InspireKidsToDo.
