The number of concealed-carry permits issued in Logan County increased by nearly one-third last year, even as overall licenses issued statewide fell, according to a report issued Friday by the Ohio Attorney General’s Office.
The Logan County Sheriff’s Office issued a total of 628 concealed- carry licenses in 2018. A total of 405 concealed-carry permits were issued in 2017, according to previous reports from the attorney general’s office.
Permits must be renewed every five years, per Ohio law.
