Five people were arrested Thursday after officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department served a search warrant and found large amounts of methamphetamine and crack cocaine in the residence.
Larry Piatt III, 27; Trevor Board, 25; and Rayvin Houchin, 20, all of 332 S. Detroit St., Apt. C; and Todd Connelly, 19, of 322 Walnut St.; each was charged with second-degree felonies of possession of cocaine, possession of methamphetamine, trafficking in cocaine and trafficking in methamphetamine.
Brittiny Swincher, 33, at large, was arrested on a parole violation.
Officers found Piatt, Board, Houchin and Connelly inside the 332 S. Detroit St., Apt. C, residence when the warrant was served around 2:30 p.m. and Swincher sitting in a vehicle parked outside.
Large amounts of methamphetamine and crack cocaine were seized in the search along with cash, a scale and numerous cellular phones.
Additional charges are pending, according to police.
