Nancy C. Rapp, 69, of Huntsville, OH, passed away Wednesday evening, November 16, 2022, at St. Rita’s Medical Center, Lima, OH.
Nancy was born on March 28, 1953, in Kenton, OH, a daughter of the late Norman and Carol Stevenson Millisor. She married Ronny Rapp on March 19, 1976, at the Lewistown United Methodist Church, and he preceded her in death on March 13, 2010.
Nancy is survived by her children, Jonn (Valarie) Rapp, and Morgan (Jeremy) Kaser, both of Huntsville, and Abbey Rapp of Dayton, OH, eight grandchildren, Libby Cotterman, Allix Cotterman, Kendall Cotterman, Annie Rapp, Aaron Rapp, Owen Kaser, Ivy Kaser, and Eden Kaser, her sister, Cheryl Schrader and her children, Nicole (Jamie) Schwieterman, Molly (Wes) Hall, and Ryan (Erin) Schrader, brother/sister-in-law, Tom (Vickie) Rapp, and Cindy Dorsey, and many nieces, nephews, and friends including LeaDel Hurley and her Western Teaching Group.
Nancy was a 1971 graduate of Indian Lake High School. She earned her bachelor’s degree in education from Bowling Green State University. Nancy retired from Bellefontaine City Schools in 2010 after 35 years teaching. She enjoyed fishing, boating, reading, gardening, her Diet Coke, and M&Ms. Her greatest joy in life was her family, spending time with her grandchildren and attending their many activities.
Reverend Bryan Meadows will begin memorial services at 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 23, at Huntsville United Methodist Church. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 22, from 3 to 7 p.m. at Shoffstall Funeral Home, 205 S. Main St., Lakeview, and from 10 to 11 a.m. on Wednesday at church. Inurnment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Belle Center, OH.
Memorial contributions may be given in Nancy’s memory to Indian Lake Athletic Boosters.
