A DeGraff motorist was cited for failure to control after he was distracted by his cellular phone and crashed into a parked car around 7:15 p.m. Monday.
Robert H. Kilgore, 50, was southbound in a sport utility vehicle and drifted toward the curb in the 400 block of north Main Street. His SUV hit a parked van registered to Rebecca A. Savidge of 421 N. Main St.
Damage was heavy to both vehicles.
An officer of the Bellefontaine Police Department observed the crash.
• Amani Alharthi, 29, of Beavercreek, was cited for failure to control after a single-vehicle crash in the 700 block of north Main Street around 5:20 p.m. Sunday. The Alharti car was southbound and slid off the curb side of a curve into a light post.
Damage was heavy to the car.
• Rebecca M. Snow, 16, of Milford Center, was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead after a two-vehicle crash on Sandusky Avenue at Garfield Avenue. She was westbound in a car and slid into the rear of pickup truck operated by Jeffrey A. Sanders, 52, of Ansonia.
Damage was heavy to the car and light to the pickup.
• Kyle R. Robinson, 16, of DeGraff, was cited for a stop violation after a two-vehicle crash 7:15 p.m. Friday at 500 Gunntown Road. He drove a pickup truck from the apartment complex into the path of an eastbound SUV operated by Akima M. Long, 42, of Bellefontaine.
Long was transported by a Bellefontaine squad to Mary Rutan Hospital for treatment of possible injuries. Damage was heavy.
