One motorist was taken by a Bellefontaine squad to Mary Rutan Hospital after a 2:18 p.m. Monday crash at the intersection of Garfield Avenue and Troy Road, officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department report. Steven L. Cramer, 66, of Ridgeway, who was driving a Thompson Electric van was westbound on Garfield. He had been stopped at the traffic light and began traveling through the intersection when a sport utility vehicle driven by Seth E. Combs, 35, of Bluffton, entered the intersection from the north after allegedly failing to stop at the red light. The work van collided with the SUV. Mr. Cramer was taken to the hospital, but Mr. Combs did not report any injuries. Mr. Combs was cited for failure to stop at a traffic light. (EXAMINER PHOTO | JOEL E. MAST)
