Ayla K. Grimes, 18, of Bellefontaine, was injured Wednesday after a collision on Sandusky Avenue near Park Street.
She was transported by a Bellefontaine squad to Mary Rutan Hospital for treatment of her injuries.
Officers report she was westbound around 6:35 p.m. and lost control of her car on the snow covered roadway. The car traveled left of center and collided with an eastbound tractor-trailer operated by George A. Saade, 27, of Piqua.
Ms. Grimes was cited for failure to control.
Damage was heavy to the car and moderate to the semi.
