Addam M. Blue, 30, of Raymond, was charged Monday with possession of drug paraphernalia.
Around 10 p.m., an off-duty trooper of the Marysville Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol reported he was following a westbound car on U.S. Route 33 that was weaving over the roadway.
The motorist traveled on County Road 10 into the city where he was stopped in the 100 block of west Chillicothe Avenue. Field sobriety tests did not show indications of any impairment, officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department report.
However, he acknowledged there were two hypodermic syringes in the car which he uses to inject illegal drugs.
The syringes were located and seized, police report.
