MARYSVILLE — Ohio State Highway Patrol Trooper Jacob C. Morrison has been selected as the 2022 Trooper of the Year at the Marysville Post.
The selection of Trooper Morrison is in recognition of outstanding service during 2022 at the Marysville Post. Fellow officers stationed at the Marysville Post chose Trooper Morrison based on his leadership abilities, professional ethics, courteous treatment of others, enthusiastic work attitude, and cooperation with supervisors, peers and the public.
Trooper Morrison joined the Highway Patrol in 2013 and has served at the Marysville Post since that time. Originally from Grove City, Trooper Morrison graduated from Grove City Christian School and earned an associate’s degree from Columbus State Community College.
Trooper Morrison was previously selected as the 2014 and 2015 Marysville Post Trooper of the Year. Throughout his career, Trooper Morison has received the Patrol’s Physical Fitness Ribbon, Criminal Patrol Award, and was selected as the Piqua District Robert M. Chiaramonte Humanitarian Award.
