Three grandchildren of Mills Brothers member Donald Mills pose for a photo at the Logan County History Center, 521 E. Columbus Ave., Friday afternoon, where they got to check out displays showcasing the world famous jazz and vocal quartet’s albums and memorabilia. Pictured are, from the left, Donald Mills’ grandchildren, Mauna-Loa Rodger-Blankenship, Patty Page, family friend; Sylvia Rodgers-Whiting and Harry Rodgers. The Rodgers were in town to visit their aunt and Donald Mills’ daughter, Deidra Raney, 84, of Bellefontaine. In addition to Donald, the original Mills Brothers group members were John Jr., Herbert, and Harry. The brothers, Piqua natives, grew up in Bellefontaine. They made more than 2,000 recordings that sold more than 50 million copies and earned about two dozen gold records. (EXAMINER PHOTO | T.J. HUBBARD)
