Megan Fields Brinner, 41, passed away Saturday, April 15, 2017, at Sun City Center Hospice House in Ruskin, Fla.
She was a resident of the Tampa/St. Petersburg area for the past several years. She is survived by her parents, K.C. and Beverly Noble Fields of Dublin, Ohio; brother, Michael N. Fields of Columbus; sons Parker Brinner and Pierce Brinner of Tampa, Fla.; several cousins, and many friends.
She was preceded in death by paternal grandparents Robert E. and Lillian Fields of Russells Point and Don C. and Doris A. Noble of Ft. Myers, Fla.; uncles, Robert E. (Rick) Fields, Kip. C. Fields; and aunt, Tami Fields Bradford.
Megan graduated from Columbus Academy in 1994, where she earned varsity letters in both tennis and lacrosse. She then graduated from Miami University in Oxford in 1998 with a degree in elementary education.
Megan taught for several years in both public and private elementary schools in Cincinnati, Atlanta, Chicago and St. Louis. She loved her job as a teacher and loved children. She was respected by both her peers and the parents of her students. But her sons were the light of her life and she loved them dearly.
Megan was full of life and love. She was smart, funny, and beautiful inside and out. She was kind, caring, sincere, and compassionate to everyone. She had an authentic soul that made you feel as if you had known her forever. She extended kindness and generosity to everyone around her. Her smile and laughter were contagious. Megan touched everyone she met.
She was a loving daughter, sister, mother, and friend. God love you Megan. You will be forever loved and missed but not forgotten.
A private family service will be held at a future date.
The family is very grateful to the caring nurses, doctors, staff, and volunteers at Tampa General Hospital and the Sun City Center Hospice House.
