Paramedics with the Bellefontaine Fire & EMS Department used Narcan to revive Cody M. Instine, 25, of 532 Eastern Ave., around 10:25 a.m. Friday, according to police reports.
Mr. Instine was found unresponsive on a sidewalk in the 500 block of west Columbus Avenue. He was loaded into a squad and paramedics found evidence of repeated heroin abuse on his arms.
The paramedic-administered injection revived him.
He was taken to Mary Rutan Hospital, but left against medical advice.
Man charged with domestic violence

Timothy Runyon, 47, of 450 Kristina Drive, Apt. 16G, was charged Friday with domestic violence.
Several witnesses reported observing him swing at and shove Kara Anderson, of the same address, in the area of 200 Gunntown Road.
Ms. Anderson, who is pregnant, did not report any injuries, officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department report.
The defendant was lodged in the Logan County Jail.
