Martha E. “Snowball” Bowman, 69, of Sidney, passed away Saturday, Dec. 30, 2017, at Ohio Living Dorothy Love Retirement Center in Sidney. She was a school bus driver for Indian Lake Schools and loved woodworking.
She was born Nov. 2, 1948, in Sidney to the late James Cecil and Roselee Driskell McLain. Her husband, Donald Lee Bowman, preceded her in death Nov. 2, 2009.
Snowball is survived by two children, Charmin (fiancé, Rodney Campbell) Marquis of Wapakoneta and Donald Lee (Hannah) Bowman of Columbus, Ind.; siblings, Keith (Pam) McLain, Richard (Nancy) McLain and Charlotte (Ed) Foster, all of Sidney; grandson, Marcus (Heather) Marquis; great-grandchildren, Jaylia Marquis, Alex Marquis, Julian Marquis and Damian Marquis; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She also was preceded in death by a brother, Jake McLain.
Snowball attended Harvest Baptist Church in Wapakoneta. She was a 1967 graduate of Sidney High School.
Memorial services are at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 4, at Adams Funeral Home in Sidney, following calling that begins at 9 a.m. Pastor Linda Dulin Moore officiates.
