Marjorie L. Nash, 90, of Cable, passed away Thursday, Sept. 20, She was born Dec. 21, 1927, in Urbana, a daughter of Leroy and Mary Goldie Ethel Gordley Taylor. Marjorie was a member of Mt. Carmel Friends Church and retired from Honeywell in 1993 after 27 years of service.
She enjoyed warm weather and sunshine, working outside, feeding the birds and visiting the Smoky Mountains. Marjorie’s favorite color was green and she enjoyed Taster’s Choice coffee.
Survivors include a daughter, Carmel Nash; a son, Gary Nash; very special family friends, Danielle (John) Wall, Darrin (Kate) Turner, David (Donna) Turner and Mike (Rosie) Steward; neighbor and friend, Mike Shuler; six “great-grandchildren”; several nieces and nephews; and a special dog, Ellie May.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Tom Nash; and sisters, Betty Wootton and Juanita Irvin.
Services begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 25, Mt. Carmel Evangelical Friends Church, 3470 Kennard Kingscreek Road, Cable, following calling that begins at 10 a.m. Burial follows in Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Cable.
Memorial contributions may be made in Marjorie’s memory to PAWS Animal Shelter and Hospice of Dayton.
