PORTER |
John J. Porter, 60, of 4819 Township Road 147, Zanesfield, was charged with aggravated menacing and domestic violence following an incident Wednesday.
Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office responded about 5:40 p.m. to the residence after his wife, Becky Porter, 62, reported that he had pointed a firearm at her.
Mrs. Porter said during an argument that evening, her husband stormed out of the house and knocked a door off its hinges. He then reportedly drove erratically around their property in his pickup that was hauling a trailer. Then they unhooked the trailer and began driving erraticly on the snow-covered T.R. 147.
He then reportedly came back to the residence and his wife said he demanded his firearms. She had hid the firearms, but he pulled a revolver off a wall and reportedly pulled the trigger, but the gun was not loaded. Mrs. Porter did not report any injuries.
The defendant was placed under arrest and transported to the Logan County Jail.
