Joshua M. Carr, 34, of 521 E. Brown Ave., Apt. A, was charged Monday with domestic violence.
Officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department responded to the residence around 9:20 a.m. after witnesses reported a woman was trying to leave but a man pulled her back inside by her hair.
Mary Major told officers the two have a son together and have been living together for five years. That morning as they were in a vehicle traveling back to the residence an argument ensued and Carr allegedly grabbed her by the hair. He then allegedly threatened to smash her face into the dashboard.
Carr denied anything happened but later want to claim Major assaulted him. An arresting officer reminded him of his early claim that nothing hap- pened between the two.
He was lodged in the Logan County Jail.
Two face intoxication charges
Clarence L. Harris III, 24, of Springfield, was charged Sunday with public indecency and public intoxication. Around 1:25 a.m. officers found him behind 207 W. Columbus Ave. on the ground, laying face first in his vomit.
He was helped to his feet but could not stand on his own. He then reportedly exposed himself to officers, members of a Bellefontaine squad and patrons of the Beer Vault, 149 W. Columbus Ave., and urinated onto the ground.
He was transported to Mary Rutan Hospital for treatment of his excessive intoxication level.
• Lesley A. Frost, 36, of 9449 W. State Route 47, DeGraff, was arrested Monday for public intoxication, having an open container of alcohol and a probation violation.
At 5:40 p.m., officers were dispatched to Village Pantry, 200 E. Sandusky Ave., and found her laying on the ground near a trash bin.
Two half-empty bottles of vodka were found by officers, one in her purse and the other on the ground next to her.
She complained of severe back pain and was transported by a Bellefontaine squad to Mary Rutan Hospital for treatment. Upon her discharge, she was taken into custody for the probation violation.
Vehicle damaged

Sunday the passenger side of his car’s windshield was shattered while parked in a municipal parking lot at the southwest corner of Columbus Avenue and Detroit Street. He was notified of the damage around 1:35 a.m. while at the Beer Vault, 149 W. Columbus Ave.
Teen found out after curfew
Draven L. Vanschoyck, 15, of 717 W. Williams Ave., was charged today with violating curfew. Around 1:50 a.m., he was spotted walking on Main Street near Williams Avenue.
He took off running but soon stopped and was taken into custody. He was returned home and the report was forwarded to prosecutors for further review.
