LONG |
Cody J. Long, 33, of 604 Charles Ave., was charged today with domestic violence and operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs. He also was cited for no driver’s license and driving under suspension violations.
Officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department were called around 12:35 a.m. to a domestic violence incident and told the suspect was fleeing the residence in a pickup truck.
Long was stopped at U.S. routes 33 and 68.
Cynthia Outram, of the same address, told police the suspect came home drunk and angry. He allegedly made threats toward Outram and threw an aluminum ladder at her.
At the traffic stop, an officer noted Long’s eyes were bloodshot and glassy and he had an odor of alcohol on his breathe. Field sobriety tests indicated he was impaired by alcohol and he provided a breathalyzer sample of 0.10.
He was lodged in the Logan County Jail.
