Anthony Scott Partington, 38, of 5786 Township Road 95, Huntsville, was charged with domestic violence related to an incident Sunday at his residence.
Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office responded to his address about 11:50 p.m. on a report of a domestic dispute.
When deputies arrived, they spoke with Jessica Partington, 38, and the defendant, whom they observed was intoxicated. Ms. Partington said she had tried to prevent him from leaving the home in a vehicle while he was intoxicated and he became angry.
Her 16-year-old son then came downstairs, and Mr. Partington allegedly pushed him into a wall and also pushed Ms. Partington during a confrontation.
The defendant also reportedly told his stepson to punch him, and when the 16-year-old did not, Mr. Partington allegedly punched a large hole in the wall.
No injuries were reported. The defendant was transported to the Logan County Jail.
Summons issued for shoplifting incident
Justin L. Reilley, 26, of 400 Lincoln Blvd., Russells Point, was issued a summons for theft Saturday related to a reported shoplifting incident at the Dollar General, 147 E. Main St., Russells Point.
Deputies responded to the business Friday morning regarding the shoplifting complaint that occurred Thursday. A clerk reported that Reilley had purchased a beverage at the store, but left without paying for a nasal spray. Upon review of store video surveillance, deputies observed him placing the nasal spray in his pocket.
Deputies located Reilley Saturday and issued him the summons, also noting that he is barred from entering the store in the future.
