Sage Stanley, 19, of 214 Pratt St., Apt. 6, was charged Thursday for tampering with evidence.
Officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department were called to the area of Brown Avenue and Oakland Square Park around 4:30 p.m. on a report of a man with a gun.
The suspect was spotted walking in the area and was approached at his residence.
He admitted to having a BB-gun pistol, but that he had gotten rid of it. He would not provide a location where he dumped the pistol nor to whom he gave it.
He was lodged in the Logan County Jail.
• Charles M.W. Manahan, 27, of 121 N. Hayes St., was charged Monday with possession of marijuana.
He was stopped around 10:40 p.m. in the 400 block of Colton Avenue and was cited for speeding and driving under suspension.
A bag of marijuana was recovered from the vehicle.

• Thomas E. Adams III, 31, of 412 Lawrence Ave., was charged Monday with domestic violence.
Around 10:10 p.m., officers met with the suspect and Tracci Ritter at 112 Eaton St.
He allegedly picked her up and took her to the floor at her residence during an argument. She had bruising on her knees and legs.
He was lodged in jail.
