A Russells Point man was arrested Friday evening after officers of the Washington Township Police Department responded to a report of a fight between a man and a woman in the parking lot of Mimi’s Restaurant, 156 E. Main St., Russells Point.
Robert Reprogle Jr., 30, of 7956 County Road 54, Lewistown, was charged with persistent disorderly conduct and aggravated menacing in connection with the 7:25 p.m. incident.
Passersby reportedly saw him being abusive and cursing at a woman. The intoxicated suspect then threatened them with a beer bottle when they attempted to intervene.
Man charged for bringing drugs into jail
Cody Beach, 25, of 628 Henry St., Bellefontaine, was arrested on a warrant and later charged with a third-degree felony charge of illegal conveyance of drugs into a detntion facility after a 2:53 p.m. traffic stop, officers report. He was found in possession of marijuana at the Logan County Jail.
The driver Robert Gammell, 47, of Bellefontaine, was issued citations for driving under suspension and having a fictitious registration.
