Lucky Indian Lake Elementary School students got a chance to smash a pie in the eye of unlucky teachers during the Laker Zone assembly on the last day of school Wednesday.

Teachers and administrators who signed up were chosen at random, while students names were picked out of more than 3,000 Laker Zone cards that were handed out over the entire school year. The student body cheered and laughed as students coated co-principal Jeff Reprogle representing kindergarten, first grade teacher Wes Hall, second grade teacher Sarah Beres, third grade teacher JoAnne Brademeyer, and fourth grade teacher Christi Warnecke in whipped cream.
Prior to the pie-in-the-face festivities, the fourth quarter Laker Zone Awards were announced.
