A historic building in East Liberty is awaiting a new owner after the quasi-governmental agency that was located there for more than 45 years moved to a new location.

The Logan County Commissioners passed a resolution this week to sell the 9676 Foundry St. building where the Logan-Union-Champaign Regional Planning Commission has been located since 1972.
The LUC, which formed in 1968 to handle regional long-term planning and zoning issues in the three-county region and played an important role in attracting Honda to this part of Ohio, moved in October to a new home inside the multi-purpose center at the entrance to the Transportation Research Center campus.
