Lola Schaffner Kennedy, 85, of DeGraff, passed away Monday, Sept. 19, 2016, at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.
She was born in Shelby County on July 9, 1931, to the late Kline D. “Jack” and Edna Frances Allison Roberts.
She is survived by her children, Linda (Steve) Hackley, Phyllis (Dale) Snyder, Nancy Foster, Connie (Gary) Carter, Tom (Deb) Schaffner, Sam Schaffner and Ron (Yong Hui) Schaffner; brother, William (Marjorie) Roberts; and sister, Connie (Gene) Roeser; 13 grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and five great-stepgrandchildren.
Lola retired from the billing department of Mary Rutan Hospital. She was a member of the Mt. Tabor Church of God and enjoyed flower gardening and being with family.
Services are at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 23, at the Mt. Tabor Church of God, 8113 County Road 13, DeGraff, where visitation is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 22. Brother Nathan Price officiates and burial is in Greenwood-Union Cemetery, DeGraff.
