Sophomore forward Taran Logwood scored a game-high 21 points to lead visiting West Liberty-Salem to a 45-38 victory over Northeastern in Ohio Heritage Conference boys basketball action Friday night.
The Tigers move to 4-2 overall and 4-1 in the OHC. The Jets drop to 3-3, 2-2.
Matt Jones also scored in double figures with 13 points to aid the WL-S victory. Isaiah Reames added five points.
The Tigers led throughout. They took an 11-6 lead after one quarter and led 23-8 at halftime.
WL-S held a 10-point cushion (29-19) after three quarters.
Travis Tuttle led the Jets with 14 points.
In the junior varsity game, the Tigers lost 47-31. Caleb Hershberger led WL-S with nine points and Sam Snapp had six points.
The Tigers are back in action tonight at Graham.
