Indian Lake standout guards Caiden Nicol and Camdon Tuttle have provided a lot of headaches for opposing teams over the last couple of years. Maddux Hall is developing into another big threat in the backcourt as well for the Lakers this season.
Hall, a junior in his first year as a full-time varsity player, scored a career-high 26 points to lead visiting Indian Lake past Benjamin Logan 68-45 in a Central Buckeye Conference boys basketball game Friday night.
The Lakers are now 4-2 overall and 3-0 in the CBC. The Raiders fall to 0-5, 0-3.
Hall knocked down six three-pointers en route to his big night. He scored 13 points in the first half to help Indian Lake take a 32-18 lead at the break.
The second half saw more of the same.
With 13 more points from Hall, Indian Lake continued to pad its lead. The Lakers led by 22 points (45-32) after three quarters.
Nicol contributed 14 points for the Lakers and Tuttle and Avery Pequignot each added eight points to aid the victory.
E.J. Martin led Ben Logan with 15 points. Ethan Miller had eight points, Collin Powell scored seven and Jonas Hoffman chipped in six for the Raiders.
In the junior varsity game Friday, Indian Lake won 50-37. Cooper Hall led the Lakers with 21 points.
The Lakers return to action tonight at Jackson Center, while Ben Logan returns to the court next Friday at Springfield Catholic Central.
