Organizers of the Logan Hills Festival are hoping to add some spirit to the annual Memorial Day festival with a colorful new display.

The Wall: The Spirit of America’s Story, created by Sandusky residents Ronald L. Smith and Patricia L. Sexton, is a multi-panel hand-painted display that takes viewers on a pictorial trip through the United States’ history from 1775 forward, Jeremy Smith, Logan Hills Festival Association chairman, said.
“It’s a visual timeline of America’s story,” he said. “We needed something different to attract people to the festival and this is a pretty amazing display.”
