Bellefontaine’s summer swim team recently competed in the 5C League Championships at Botkins.
Bellefontaine finished fifth out of six teams in the overall standings. Minster was first, Versailles took second, Tipp-Monroe was third, Botkins was fourth and Troy finished sixth.
Skyler Tavenner highlighted the boys team by winning the 100 open freestyle and finishing first in the 15-18 50 freestyle and 50 butterfly.
In the 9-10 boys age division, Liam Sweeney was fourth in the 25 freestyle.
For the 11-12 age group, Kelvin Ong placed fourth in the 25 butterfly, fifth in the 50 breaststroke and fifth in the 100 individual medley and Nathaniel Eichelberger was second in the 50 backstroke and fourth in the 100 individual medley.
