Staff from the Bellefontaine Head Start have started making masks for families that they serve in the community. Their goal is to start with families who have grandparents who are assisting with the care of their grandchildren, and from there, staff will continue to distribute masks until all families who attend a Logan County Head Start location have at least one mask. Staff members developed the idea and are following the CDC guidelines for homemade masks. “Our Home Visitors and Family Advocates have been working hard making masks,” said Shelly Fannon, Logan County Head Start early childhood services coordinator.
