Linda Sue Berry Duty, 72, of Springfield, passed away Monday, July 9, 2018, at Springfield Regional Medical Center.
She was born Sept. 4, 1945, in Bellefontaine, a daughter of Dennis and Dorothy Vance Berry. Linda enjoyed racing, camping, taking vacations and spending time with her family and pets. She was quite the jokester and was well known for her gag gifts. She was retired from Hursh Container Company.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Kandy Duty; grandkids, Cheyenne Duty and Brandon Young; greatgrandkids, Luna Ray and Tanner; mother, Dorothy Berry; sisters, Kathy Williams, Judy Greene and Glenna Seeley; brothers, Ralph (Susan) Berry and Keith Berry; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne D. Duty on June 8, 2017; her father, Dennis Berry; brother, Danny Berry; and brothers-in-law, Rea Williams, Denny Greene and Dave Seeley.
A memorial service begins at 8 p.m. Friday, July 13, in the Jones-Kenney-Zehman Funeral Home, 1002 E. High St., Springfield, where visttation is two hours prior to the service.
