Linda S. Foster, 60, of Bellefontaine and formerly of Urbana, passed away Sunday, Oct. 30, 2016, in The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, Columbus.
She was born in Columbus on Jan. 9, 1956, the daughter of James Edward Foster, who survives in Lancaster, and the late Pauline Louise Swisher Foster.
She is survived by her daughter, Amber (Jason) Smucker of East Liberty; three grandchildren, Brittany Smucker and Alyssa (David Miller) Smucker, both of Bellefontaine, and Savannah Smucker of East Liberty; one great-grandchild, Ryder Miller; a brother, Craig (Gladys) Foster of Lancaster; and an adopted daughter, Leslie (Paul Brown) Taylor of Bellefontaine.
She worked for Siemens in Bellefontaine, Urbana and Marysville for 30 years before retiring.
She enjoyed crocheting, singing and cooking, and loved Elvis Presley.
Visitation is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 3, in the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 321 N. Main St. Bellefontaine.
