The Logan County Health District has moved to the Ohio Department of Health’s COVID-19 Vaccine online scheduling system and is no longer accepting waitlist registrations.
Qualified individuals interested in receiving the vaccine can schedule an appointment by visiting https://loganhealth.org/covid-19-vaccination/ and clicking the “Schedule the COVID-19 Vaccination” button. Individuals can also visit https://gettheshot.coronavirus.ohio.gov/ to schedule an appointment.
To find out if an individual is qualified to receive the vaccine, visit https://gettheshot.coronavirus.ohio.gov/.
Ohio currently is in Phase 1B, 1C, 1D, 2A and 2B of its COVID-19 vaccination program, which includes eligibility for individuals age 50 and older.
Earlier this week, Governor DeWine also announced expanded vaccine eligibility in Ohio beginning Friday, March 19, for phases 1E and 2C. Phase 1E includes those with cancer, chronic kidney disease, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, heart disease and obesity. Phase 2C extends eligibility to Ohioans who are 40 and older.
Then beginning March 29, eligibility will be expanded to all Ohioans ages 16 and older. FDA emergency use authorization only allows those ages 16 and 17 to receive the Pfizer vaccine.
ODH’s online scheduling system allows Ohioans to view available appointment times and locations from different COVID-19 vaccine providers in an area, rather than contacting each individual facility. Keep in mind that not all provider locations are using the ODH scheduling system yet.
If you do not have Internet access, options for scheduling are:
• All six locations of the Logan County Libraries have computers with Internet access for the public to use.
• Call the health district at (937) 592-9040, option 6, to leave a message for a volunteer to call you back and assist.
