Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office responded to a non-injury crash about 8 a.m. Wednesday in the area of 10120 County Road 15 during heavy fog conditions.
Sarah K. Dunlavy, 29, of Zanesfield, reportedly turned southbound onto C.R. 15 from a private drive. Her 2008 Honda Civic was struck from behind by a southbound 2006 Honda Civic operated by Matthew G. King.
Deputies said each driver had difficulty seeing the other vehicle because of the foggy conditions. No citations were issued the in the crash.
Damage was heavy to both vehicles.
• Deacon K. McAte, 20, of Morgantown, W.Va., was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead relating to a crash Thursday by Hurley Farms, 9249 State Route 117, Huntsville.
He reportedly was operating a northbound 2005 Toyota Corolla on S.R. 117 and struck the rear of a northbound 2020 Subaru sport utility vehicle operated by Pamela W. Marshall, 66, of Belle Center, about 3:50 p.m. that was stopped in traffic waiting to turn into the business driveway.
Damage was heavy to both vehicles. The drivers were wearing their seat belts.
• Margaret E. Leiss, 75, of Bellefontaine, was cited for failure to yield related to a crash Wednesday on State Route 47 and County Road 31.
Deputies report she was operating a southbound 2010 Honda Crosstour on C.R. 31 about 7 p.m. and stopped at S.R. 47. She then pulled into the intersection and struck a westbound 2012 Ford Focus operated by Benjamin M. Joseph, 48, of Troy.
Damage was heavy to both vehicles, which were towed from the scene. The drivers were wearing their seat belts.
