Indian Lake’s swim team finished second and Benjamin Logan was fourth in a meet Monday in Wapakoneta.
The Laker girls were led by a second-place finish from Kassidy Crockett in the 100 backstroke and a third-place finish from Ashlyn Shaner in the 100 freestyle.
Lily Jenkins was fourth in the 100 butterfly in a new school-record time of 1:22.03, Ella Wagner was third in the 100 breaststroke and fourth in the 200 freestyle in a new school-record time of 2:40.33.
The 400 freestyle relay team of Crockett, Wagner, Jenkins and Shaner finished third in a school-record time of 4:43.06, the 200 medley relay team of Crockett, Wagner, Jenkins and Macie Robinson finished fourth and the 400 freestyle B relay team of Kendall Cotterman, Paige Mefford, Liza Shutway and Robinson was fifth.
Also for the Laker girls, Shutway was fifth in the 100 freestyle and fifth in the 100 breaststroke, Crockett was eighth in the 50 freestyle and Allison Culp was eighth in the 100 breaststroke.
Ryan Braig paced the Indian Lake boys with second-place finishes in the 200 individual medley and the 100 freestyle.
The Lakers’ 400 freestyle relay team of Caden Paavola, Lane McPherson, Reid Vance and Braig finished second and the 400 freestyle B relay team of Jacob Huhn, Ethan Pequignot, Brant Parsell and Dustin Franks was third.
Finishing fifth were the 200 medley team of Paavola, McPherson, Braig and Vance and the 200 freestyle relay team of Pequignot, Mason Beres, Tristan Aulds and Franks.
Also for the Lakers, Paavola was fifth in the 500 freestyle and sixth in the 50 freestyle, McPherson was fourth in the 100 breaststroke, Vance was fourth in the 100 freestyle, Parsell took fifth in the 100 backstroke, Huhn was sixth in the 100 backstroke and eighth in the 200 freestyle, Pequignot was seventh in the 100 backstroke and Aulds was eighth in the 100 backstroke.
Ben Logan did not have its full squad, but still turned in some strong efforts.
For the Raider boys, the 200 freestyle relay team of Dylan Jordan, Kelvin Ong, Max Leezer and Carter Rees finished third, the 200 medley relay team of Rees, Leezer, Ong and Jordan finished fourth and the 400 freestyle relay team of Gabe Hemmelgarn, Noland King, Leezer and Luke McKenrick was fourth.
Individually, Rees was third in the 100 freestyle and fourth in the 200 freestyle in a school-record time of 2:04.21, Leezer took third in the 100 breaststroke and Ong finished fifth in the 50 freestyle and fifth in the 100 butterfly.
For the Ben Logan girls, Gabrielle Schmidt was first in the 100 freestyle and fourth in the 100 breaststroke.
The Raiders’ 200 freestyle relay team of Grace Grant, Corinne Herring, Junette Ly and Schmidt was third and the 200 medley relay team of Liberty Hays, Schmidt, Ly and Herring took fifth.
Indian Lake is back in action Saturday at Piqua and Ben Logan returns to the pool Wednesday, Dec. 18, at Trotwood Madison.
