Indian Lake’s softball team used some dynamic offense and strong pitching to put away visiting Kenton 13-5 on Wednesday in a non-league contest.

The Lakers move their record to 2-0 to start the season.
Indian Lake’s offense got going early and led 10-0 after the third inning.
Kenton drove in three runs in the top of the fifth inning, but the Lakers added two runs in the bottom of the fifth to make it a 12-3 score.
The Wildcats were able to tack on a run in the top of the sixth inning and the Lakers were able to add a run of their own to make it a 13-4 score.
Kenton added one final run in the top of the seventh, but couldn’t get any closer.
