Riverside jumped on visiting Lehman Catholic early and never looked back for an 11-1 win in five innings in Northwest Central Conference softball action Monday.
The Pirates are now 5-6 overall and 2-0 in the NWCC.
Lehman took a 1-0 lead in the top of the first inning, but the Pirates answered with six runs in the bottom of the first to take a 6-1 advantage.
The Pirates added a run in the second and four more in the fourth inning.
Offensively for Riverside, Alaina Snow went 2-3 with a double and an RBI, Jenna Woods went 2-3 with a double and two RBI, Malaina Jenkins had an RBI, Kara Kauffman had a double and two RBI and Olivia Perk added three RBI.
Alaina Snow was the winning pitcher. She allowed only two hits, walked one and struck out nine.
The Pirates are back in action today at Lima Perry.

Raiders outlast Warriors
Host Benjamin Logan pulled out a 16-14 win over Northwestern in a Central Buckeye Conference softball game Monday.
The Raiders are now 8-2 overall and 3-1 in the CBC. The Warriors drop to 4-3, 1-3.
After two scoreless innings to start the game, both teams scored four times in the third inning to make the score 4-4.
The Warriors went up 6-4 with two runs in the top of the fourth, but the Raiders responded with a nine-run explosion in the bottom of the fourth to lead 13-6.
Northwestern scored one run in the fifth and three in the top of the sixth to make it 13-10.
The Raiders stretched out their lead with three runs in the bottom of the sixth, making the score 16-10.
Northwestern put four more runs on the scoreboard in the top of the seventh, but the Raiders were able to hang on for the win.
Offensively for the Raiders, Jillian Plikerd went 4-6 with a double, home run and six RBI, Ryelle Gibson went 2-4 with two RBI, Jenn Naragon went 2-5 with two RBI, Lynzee Cronkleton went 2-4 with two RBI, Rhea Harner went 2-4 and Taylor Lafferty and Georgia Bates each added an RBI.
Lafferty earned the win in the pitching circle for Ben Logan.
Ben Logan returns to action today at Tecumseh.

Tigers stop Rams
West Liberty-Salem’s softball team won 7-2 over visiting Greeneview in an Ohio Heritage Conference game Monday afternoon.
The Tigers are now 6-4 overall and 4-2 in the OHC.
WL-Salem set the tone with six runs in the first inning. The Tigers added another run in the fifth.
Greeneview scored both of its runs in the seventh.
Aubrey Williams was the winning pitcher for the Tigers.
At the plate for WL-S, Alexa Stoll went 2-3 with a double and an RBI, Emily Bolton went 3-4, Macie Campbell went 2-3, Maddie Hutton had two RBI, Hannah Riblet had a double and Rachel Hostetler added one RBI.
The Tigers return to action today at Madison Plains.

Falcons trip up Lakers
Graham collected 11 hits en route to an 8-2 win over visiting Indian Lake in a Central Buckeye Conference softball game Monday.
The Lakers are now 8-4 overall and 1-3 in the CBC. The Falcons improve to 7-5, 1-4.
Indian Lake scored a run in the top of the first for an early lead, but the Falcons answered with four runs in the bottom of the first to take a 4-1 advantage.
The Falcons added to their lead with a run in the third, two in the fifth and one more in the sixth.
Indian Lake scored its final run in the top of the seventh.
The Lakers were held to five hits. Claire Young had an RBI to lead Indian Lake.
Indian Lake is back in action Wednesday at Graham.
