Riverside fell behind 3-0, but stormed back to beat visiting Lehman Catholic 10-5 in a Northwest Central Conference baseball game Monday.
The Pirates are now 4-4 overall and 3-0 in the NWCC.
Lehman scored twice in the first inning and plated another run in the top of the third for a 3-0 lead.
However, the Pirates put four runs on the scoreboard in the bottom of the third to jump ahead 4-3.
The Cavaliers took the lead back with a run in the fifth and another in the top of the sixth. That put the visitors up 5-4.
Riverside grabbed the momentum back with six runs in the bottom of the sixth inning.
The Pirates collected 12 hits on the day.
Zander Crouch sparked the Pirates at the plate, going 2-2 with two doubles and three RBI.
Also for Riverside, Warren Shockey had a double, Landon Stewart was 2-4 with an RBI, Kale Long was 2-4, Deven Frilling was 2-4 with an RBI, Brody Rhoads had two RBI and Zane Rose added an RBI.
Shockey went the distance on the mound to get the win for the Pirates. He struck out 10, walked three and gave up nine hits.
Riverside is back in action today at Lima Perry.

Lakers stay perfect in CBC
Indian Lake’s baseball team defeated host Graham 5-1 in Central Buckeye Conference baseball action Monday.
The Lakers stay unbeaten in the CBC at 4-0. They are 8-1 overall.
Graham drops to 4-5, 1-4.
Indian Lake got off to a great start with four runs in the top of the first inning.
The Lakers added another run in the fourth for a 5-0 lead.
Graham scored its lone run in the sixth.
Trenton Fulkerson earned the win on the hill for the Lakers. He gave up just three hits, one walk and piled up 12 strikeouts.
Caleb Wurster led the Indian Lake offense, going 2-3 with a double and an RBI.
Lane Mefford had two RBI and Cayden Whitman chipped in one RBI for the Lakers.
Indian Lake returns to the diamond today at Jonathan Alder.

Tigers hold off Greeneview
West Liberty-Salem staved off a late threat by visiting Greeneview for a 4-3 victory in an Ohio Heritage Conference baseball game Monday.
The Tigers improve to 3-4 overall and 3-1 in the OHC. Greeneview is now 4-2, 2-1.
The game was tied 1-1 after three innings. The Tigers broke the tie with three runs in the fifth inning for a 4-1 lead.
Greeneview scored a pair of runs in the top of the sixth to make the score 4-3, but the Tigers were able to able to hold on the rest of the way to get the win.
Nick Burden had a pair of RBI to lead WL-Salem’s hitting efforts. Christian Griffith added an RBI.
Christian Griffith went five innings on the mound to get the win for the Tigers.
The Tigers play at Madison Plains today.

Braves edge Chiefs
Bellefontaine was unable to put any runs on the scoreboard in a 2-0 loss to host Springfield Shawnee on Monday in a Central Buckeye Conference baseball game.
The Chiefs fall to 2-5 overall and 0-4 in the CBC. Shawnee improves to 6-4, 5-0.
Shawnee took a 1-0 lead in the first inning and added an insurance run in the sixth.
Alex Caudill turned in a strong performance on the mound for the Chiefs despite getting the loss. He allowed just three hits, struck out eight and walked four.
Caudill added a double at the plate and Gage Pope had two hits.
The Chiefs play at home against Shawnee on Wednesday.

Raiders suffer first loss
Benjamin Logan’s baseball team could not get its bats going Monday as the Raiders fell 2-1 to host Northwestern in an Ohio Heritage Conference baseball game.
It was the first loss of the season for the Raiders, who are now 8-1 overall and 3-1 in the CBC. The Warriors improve to 2-4, 1-3.
Ben Logan outhit the Warriors 6-4, but the Raiders managed just one run in the second inning.
Northwestern scored both of its runs in the fourth inning.
Tanner Perkins had a pair of hits and an RBI to lead Ben Logan’s offense.
Kade Arn went the distance on the mound for the Raiders. He allowed four hits, struck out nine and gave up five walks.
Josh Dooley earned the complete-game victory for the Warriors. He scattered six hits, struck out six and walked two.
Ben Logan returns to action today at Tecumseh.

Cardinals bounce Cedarville
Host Triad picked up a 5-3 win over Cedarville on Monday in an Ohio Heritage Conference baseball game.
The Cardinals improve to 3-3 overall and 3-1 in the OHC.
Triad led 1-0 after the opening inning.
Cedarville scored three runs in the top of the third to lead 3-1, but the Cardinals answered with four runs in the bottom of the third for a 5-3 advantage. Neither team scored again.
Ayden Spriggs earned the complete-game win on the mound for Triad. He struck out seven, walked three and allowed seven hits.
At the plate for THS, Coleman Hauck went 2-4 , Batai Lease went 2-3 with a double and Spriggs went 3-3 with a double.
Triad returns to action today at Greeneview.
