Bellefontaine’s girls golf team cruised past Tecumseh 198-234 on Tuesday in Central Buckeye Conference action.
Madison Taylor and Kayla Watkins tied for medalist honors with 42s to lead the Chiefs. Anastasia Hiatt had a 53, Morgan Burden shot 61, Kyndal Newkirk carded a 62 and Emily Taylor had 66.
For the junior varsity, Annika Reynolds had 50 and Lexi Buffkin shot 62.
Ben Logan girls come up short against Versailles
Benjamin Logan’s girls golf team fell eight strokes short of host Versailles on Tuesday during a nine-hole match.
The Tigers defeated the Raiders 191-199 at Stillwater Valley Golf Club.
Sydney Wesson paced Ben Logan with a low of 45, Olivia Hahn carded a 47, Taylor Lafferty shot a 53, Leeah Valentine and Willow Titus each had a 54, Charlotte Graham posted a 61 and Kensley Lacher added a 68.
Ben Logan hosts North Union and London today at Liberty Hills Golf Club.
Indian Lake drops match to Graham
Indian Lake’s girls golf team lost to Graham 229-233 on Tuesday at Lakeland Golf Course.
The Lakers’ Regan Ross shot a 46 to earn medalist honors.
Also for IL, Kayla Cummins shot 55, Destiny Crumley had 65 and Lauren Barhorst had 67.
Indian Lake is back in action today at Urbana.

Triad defeats Greenon
Triad’s boys golf team rolled past host Greenon 176-201 on Tuesday in an Ohio Heritage Conference match.
Cole Pond fired a 39 to earn medalist honors, Maison Johnson carded a 44, Matt Richards had a 46 and Ryan Gross added a 47.
In junior varsity action, Triad beat Greenon 229-235. Evan Culp led the Cardinals with a 54, Adam Mroczkowski had a 56, Tyler Gross shot a 57 and Evan Ziegler had a 62.
Triad travels to Madison Plains today for another OHC contest.
Bellefontaine clipped by Shawnee
Bellefontaine’s boys golf team was edged by Springfield Shawnee in a tiebreaker on Tuesday at Reid Park.
Both teams shot 207, but Shawnee earned the win with the tiebreaker.
Liam Harris led the field with a 44. Also for BHS, Aidan Mifsud shot 49, Joe Boop had 51, Austin Hammond shot 63 and Kody Watts had 64.
The Chiefs will host Kenton Ridge today.
