Keith Effingham, 59, of West Liberty, passed away Monday, Jan. 7, 2019, at home surrounded by his family.
Keith was born March 6, 1959, in Springfield to Charles and Arlene Bowers Effingham. He graduated from Springfield South High School in 1976. Keith worked at Honda of America until he retired with 26 years of service.
As a retiree he worked for Liberty Hills Golf Course, where he loved to be day and night teaching his boys and giving advice to anyone who asked. He also loved watching all sports.
Keith is survived by his wife, Bonnie, whom he married July 7, 2009; sons, Bryan (Alissa) Effingham, Tyler (Cassy Stultz) Hausler and Dillon Callicoat; daughter, Kim (Michael) McKirahan; loving sisters, Carol Gilbert and Rhonda (Terry) Spicer; brothers, Todd (Robin) Effingham and Mark Allen (Donna) Effingham; three grandchildren, Cameron, Karlie and Aubrey; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation is from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, at Hillcrest Baptist Church, 1505 S. Main St., Bellefontaine, prior to the funeral that begins at 2 p.m. with Pastor Daniel McCarty officiating.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Howard of OSU Wexner Medical Center, The Logan County Cancer Society, Universal Hospice Care nurse Cindy and hospice aid Therese.
