Kaitlin Marie DeMeo, 25, of Bellefontaine, passed away Saturday morning, March 24, 2018, in Columbus.
Kaitlin was born in Marysville on March 3, 1993, to Michael and Penny Rausch DeMeo. She was a 2011 graduate of Benjamin Logan High School and obtained her bachelor of science degree in criminal justice from Brown Mackie College.
An avid animal lover, Kaitlin also enjoyed fishing, riding her bicycle, listening to music, hanging out with her friends, entertaining little kids and writing. She was a good listener, very empathetic, and loved by all.
She is survived by her father, Michael (Bambi) DeMeo Sr. of Palm Coast, Fla.; her mother, Penny (Jason Brown) DeMeo of Bellefontaine; seven brothers, Michael (Stephanie) DeMeo Jr., Luke DeMeo, Adam Stinemetz, Tommy (Rachel) Stinemetz, Josh (Stephanie) Stinemetz, Travis (Tanya) Stinemetz and Adam (Cierra) Lump; maternal grandparents ,Bill and Susie Rausch; paternal grandmother, Anna Cimino; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Kaitlin was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Carmine DeMeo.
Calling is from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday, March 29, prior to the 7 p.m. funeral at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Bellefontaine, officiated by Greg Mensson.
